When Every Day Feels Like an Uphill Battle

You care deeply about your child — but the daily struggles are wearing you down.

You spend hours reminding, re-reminding, and picking up the pieces… and still wonder what you’re missing.

The same challenges keep showing up at home and at school:

  • Missed deadlines that lead to stress and frustration
  • Emotional outbursts that derail even the best intentions
  • Forgotten materials that leave everyone scrambling

And it doesn’t stop there:

  • Homework battles that end in tears and frustration
  • Traditional methods that don’t work, leaving you out of ideas
  • A puzzling lack of motivation despite your child’s obvious potential
  • Self-esteem slipping as they struggle to keep up and start to shut down
  • Overwhelming amounts of advice with no clear path forward

And through it all, one quiet fear lingers:

What if they never figure this out?

After Get the Brain on Board…

You will feel:

  • More confident in your approach — less second-guessing and more trust in your decisions.
  • Equipped with strategies that work for your family — ones you can use now and adapt over time.
  • Calmer in the moment — better able to handle meltdowns, resistance, or forgetfulness without adding extra stress.
  • More like a coach than a nag — guiding your child toward independence instead of doing it all yourself.
  • Clearer on what matters most — focusing on strategies and routines that make the biggest difference.

Your child will grow to be:

  • More independent — taking on more responsibilities with less prompting.
  • Better at following through — completing more of what they start.
  • More organized in their own way — using systems that fit their unique brain.
  • Less resistant, more cooperative — because they feel supported and understood.
  • More confident — seeing small, steady wins that build their belief in themselves.

Why Get the Brain on Board works when other approaches haven’t

Most strategies fail because they treat the symptoms of Executive Function struggles, not the root causes.

Timers, charts, and planners can be useful — but without understanding how your child’s brain processes tasks, manages emotions, and organizes information, those tools are like fixing a leaky pipe with tape.

This course is different. You’ll:

  • Decode your child’s brain — understand why they avoid certain tasks, melt down over transitions, or forget the same thing five days in a row

  • Learn small, targeted shifts in your approach that create lasting change

  • Follow a framework grounded in brain science so you can make sense of behavior and respond with strategies that stick

  • Use simple, repeatable tools built to work in real life — even on the busiest days

  • See practical examples so you know exactly how to apply each strategy at home or school

Parents tell me that once they understand what’s really going on in their child’s brain, the constant battles turn into opportunities to coach, connect and build skills together.

You’re not just buying tips — you’re investing in a system that grows with your child, building independence, confidence and resilience for years to come.

Hi,

I'm Carrie.

As a veteran teacher, lifelong list-maker and Executive Function coach, I've dedicated my career to understanding the challenges students face on their academic journey. After witnessing the frustrations of both parents and teachers trying to support students who struggle—in school and in life—I felt compelled to create Get the Brain on Board.

I understand that not everyone can work with me one-on-one. Some are too busy. Some can't spend the money on individualized coaching. Some kids just aren't ready to or willing to work on this stuff.

This course was born out of my passion for equipping caregivers and educators with practical tools—refined through years of experience and training—to help guide students toward success.

Join me on this transformative journey, where I share insights, strategies and a compassionate approach designed specifically for you who care deeply about your students’ growth and well-being.

And there's a BONUS: Students of Get the Brain on Board are invited to monthly Office Hours with me - ask your specific questions and get additional support!

Get the Brain on Board is a 5-week course, with about 30 minutes of content released each week. That’s roughly 3 hours of recorded lessons in total, along with practical PDF handouts to support your learning.

Each week’s material is broken into short, easy-to-digest lessons—most are just 4 to 8 minutes long—so you can fit them into your busy day without overwhelm. The course is designed to meet you where you are.

How long do I have access to the course?

You have lifetime access! After the initial 5 weeks, you'll have unlimited opportunities to revisit the material, explore updates and reinforce your knowledge whenever needed. And you are welcome at our monthly Office Hours anytime for additional support.

What if I know nothing (or just a little) about
Executive Function?

This course is definitely for you! Whether you're new to the concept or have a basic understanding, "Get the Brain on Board" provides a supportive foundation and actionable strategies for beginners.

What if I already know a lot about Executive Function?

This course may not be right for you. "Get the Brain on Board" is designed for parents and teachers seeking an introductory understanding of Executive Function to better support their students.

That said…I don't know about you, but sometimes I have major fatigue from trying the same strategies over and over again - even if I know that they will work.

One thing that helps me is to get a fresh point of view. Grab a new book from the library on the topic. Ask a different friend. Change up the Google search. Find a new, relevant Facebook group.

"Get the Brain on Board" could be this new way of looking at things.

I’ve tried so many strategies already, and they didn't work. What gives?

I wish Executive Function growth was a one and done process, but it’s just not. To be honest, working on EF is a lifelong process. These skills only get better with practice. And without practice? They can definitely get worse.

It takes time, patience and a whole lot of persistence. Creativity helps, too!

You almost certainly have tried some of the strategies that I will introduce in this module. But here’s the difference in what I teach. We can’t try a strategy (and expect it to work) without understanding the “why” behind it.

I promise to give you the “why.”

Can't I just find stuff on Instagram or Pinterest or Google to help me and my student?

YEP. You totally can.

But if you’re tired of spending SO MUCH TIME online sifting through it all to find the good stuff, "Get the Brain on Board" is for you. No Googling or Pinterest required. (Who has the time to spend all day searching for good info, anyway?)

With no searching, you’ll learn a lot about Executive Function, be able to identify your student’s biggest EF challenges and create an action plan to help support their unique brain.

Will I get strategies to use with my student right away?

Absolutely! The course is crafted to deliver practical strategies from the get-go, empowering you to implement positive changes and support your student effectively from day one.

What is your refund policy?

I’m confident that Get the Brain on Board will bring you more calm and less chaos as you support your student.

But if you’ve completed some lessons and find it’s not the right fit, just email me at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase, and I’ll issue a full refund—no hard feelings.
